Mrs. Pitre was born in Brusly, La., and lived in New Orleans for 66 years. She was a secretary for O'Neill and O'Neill Attorneys at Law and was retired from the Department of Finance in New Orleans. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth C. and Dennis J. Pitre; a daughter, Ann Johnston; two brothers, Jay William Hill Jr. and John A. Hill; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said Monday at 11:45 a.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.
